Ziya Blue was founded by a dynamic mother-daughter duo, Erin and Janice Reynolds, who began their journey in a charming small town in northern Ontario. Approximately seven years ago, they relocated to the Niagara region, where they combined their creative passions to bring something extraordinary to life.

Janice, a dedicated mother of four, pursued her dreams after raising her children. She returned to school to become a teacher and eventually took on the role of lead teacher librarian in her area. Meanwhile, Erin, with her impressive academic background, spent many years working as a Cytotechnologist.

With newfound time and enthusiasm, the duo decided to open their own gift shop. Just as they were getting started, the pandemic struck. However, the incredible support from their community helped them navigate those challenging times and learn valuable lessons along the way.

Determined to thrive, they relocated to the Pen Centre Mall, which transformed their business. Their new store is bigger and better than ever, featuring a curated selection of unique products not found anywhere else.

At Ziya Blue, diversity is embraced, and the store caters to the LGBTQ+ community as well as all free spirits. Believing in magic, reality, and fun, they meticulously curate products that capture the essence of these ideals.

Ziya Blue is proud to be an official seller of the beloved JellyCat Inc. from London, UK, known for its collectible plush toys that sell out quickly. Additionally, the team discovered a passion for plants during the pandemic, falling in love with unique plants and plant decor.

Their mission is to source products that can’t be found in average nurseries, aiming to offer the most exquisite and extraordinary plants and pots because ordinary is simply not their style.
