4" Alocasia Silver Dragon (Alocasia baginda 'Silver Dragon') – Mythical Metallic Foliage

If fantasy novels brought plants to life, this would be the main character. Meet the 4" Alocasia Silver Dragon (Alocasia baginda 'Silver Dragon'), a rare jewel-type houseplant that looks like it was forged from actual dragon scales. Featuring thick, textured leaves with a striking metallic silver sheen and deep charcoal-green venation, this plant adds high-end drama and sci-fi elegance to any indoor collection.

Despite its legendary appearance, this compact 4-inch jewel Alocasia stays tidy and manageable, making it the ultimate centerpiece for a plant stand, desktop, or illuminated shelf. Give it plenty of bright indirect light, keep the humidity high, and watch it steal the spotlight from every other green leaf in the room.

Why You’ll Love It

• Dragon-Scale Texture: Thick, heavily embossed foliage with an iridescent silver coating that practically glows under good light.

• Compact Jewel Variety: Potted in a 4" container, staying naturally small while delivering maximum visual punch.

• High-Contrast Aesthetic: Deep dark veins pop sharply against silvery background foliage for an ultra-modern look.

• Collector's Favorite: Highly sought-after by Alocasia lovers and indoor plant enthusiasts looking for unique, exotic varieties.

Quick Care Guide

• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Protect foliage from harsh direct sunlight to avoid leaf scorch.

• Water: Water when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry. Prefers well-draining soil and hates sitting in soggy conditions.

• Humidity: Enjoys high humidity (50%+). Thrives near a humidifier or in a bright, humid room like a well-lit bathroom.

• Temperature: Keep in a warm, cozy spot (65°F–80°F / 18°C–27°C) safe from cold drafts or AC vents.
