The Minds Behind the Shop

Meet Janice, a dedicated mother of four who finally decided it was time to chase her own dreams after raising her kids. With a wonderful background as a lead teacher-librarian, she spent years inspiring her community. Then there is Erin, who spent years working as a Cytotechnologist—proving once and for all that serious science brains and sparkling creativity make a fantastic combo!

We officially launched the Ziya Blue Gift Shop right as the pandemic struck. Talk about great timing, right? But thanks to the incredible, unwavering support of our community, our little dream didn't just survive; it thrived. That resilience eventually led us to open our beautifully expanded space at the Pen Centre Mall in St. Catharines!

Today, the Ziya Blue Gift Shop features a hand-picked jungle of succulents, cacti, bonsai, beautiful orchids, and popular indoor house plants like monsteras. While our everyday focus is on these lovely staples, keep your eyes peeled—we do occasionally feature a rare plant for the lucky collector!
